But, low and behold, there was a wall.
I guess some people got tired of people walking through their "yards" (dirt area around their house) to get to the field...understandable. So they built a brick wall. Now you have to walk about a mile to the main road and back around in order to get to the field. And as a result, I think the guys have stopped playing...at least the past 3 days when we walked to the field, no one was there. And they used to play every day!
I really feel like it is not only a physical wall, but a spiritual wall. As soon as I started building relationships and seeing God open doors to share Jesus, a wall was built. Pray that God would show up in a mighty way, despite this obstacle.
"My grace is all that you need. For my power is made perfect in weakness." 2 cor. 12:9
We find many walls along life's paths. Some walls, we don't understand & have to struggle to go around them, climb over or even wait to for a door (gate) to open. Maybe this particular wall will make your journey in a different direction, be an opening for other opportunities.

Maybe next time you and Victoria need to take trumpets with you and march around the brick wall seven times . . .
